Sia 8

Sia is a very beautiful fashion model in San Francisco. I met her through an agency there while I was visiting in 1996. Apparently she is now to be seen on billboards etc in the area. We did the shoot in my hotel room, which was a different experience for me (and for her!). The intention of the shoot was to show a woman in some sort of environment, which was a departure from my usual photography but something I have since done more of. It's interesting that some people have seen certain 'stories' to these pictures that weren't the same as my original intention, but I will leave it up to the viewer to interpret them.
